Surviving Without Internet
Especially when there’s no service
Sometimes we take for granted certain things that we do every day. Like eating. Drinking. Hot showers. All these things are viable for our wellbeing. One of the scariest things to live without is the internet. Whether you notice or not I’m writing this write now on my phone using my soon to be full cellular data. The writing show must go on. However at the moment I have no internet. I was really upset at first but then I realized something. This is the time for me to be able to do certain things that I held back on because it requires manual labor. It’s cool but I’m not a fan.
I may turn into a Masterchef from this. Since there’s so much food that I have not cooked. Or be then next Picasso just painting away. There are ways to keep yourself busy even in this time.
Open the creativity waiting to show
You can find things to do outside. Make a garden. Do some yard work. Work on some music. The possibilities are not endless, but it will allow you to do something different.
What would we have done if there was no internet to this day? We would go outside and explore the world right? So we can do something as simple as appreciating nature and we already did more than we did this whole week during quarantine.
It is not the end all be all when the internet is gone. It will eventually come back. But til it does, spend time being resourceful. It will help in the long run when the zombie apocalypse happens.
Hang out with your kids. Do some arts and crafts. Shoot a basketball. You could even do a individual puppet show with your socks. Thing is. There’s always something you can do to stay active. Let’s party like it’s 1999. Cause there were no cell phones then.
