I Promise I Still Like Writing

I don’t remember the last time I was on here. It must have been several months since I last wrote on this site. It’s nothing personal. I just had to take a long break. For my well being and also because, to be honest, I was tired of writing. Yes, you heard right. I was bored.

I don’t want to blame this pandemic on the lack of material I had to write, but you bet your bottom dollar I am right now. There should be numerous things to talk about, but since someone decided to sneeze an unknown germ, we are now in this state.

I have missed Medium for a while now and have been contemplating getting back here to do what I do best. Use my thoughts to make a story. I don't even have to be right half the time on things that are from my experience.

Many people read the news and then decide to make a story on it, but I won't do it. I won’t budge. Some people look for the latest new wave to make their coin, but I am not one. I make my coins (literally pennies) from talking about my life and what hummus you should buy—no more hummus talk. However, stories of my life are still on the table.

As you can see from this article, I have no idea what I’m trying to say. Clearly milking it to make this more than a minute read.

Is it working?

It does feel good to have my fingers speed across the keyboard, smashing letters again. I will say that. You can expect more out of me this year. I don’t necessarily mean daily reads, though I may go on a little streak like my Knicks team.

Be patient. I had to make sure I was ready to get my typing on in 2021. Now that I feel sure about this whole thing, I will get back to my stories. It's just that writing can be tiresome and difficult to come up with something almost every day, especially when you don’t lead an exciting life like me.
