I Only Got Curated Once. Why?

This is going to feel more like a rant more than a informative article. You may even feel the same way with the amount of times you have been writing. Here’s our time to vent.

I have been writing for about a few months on Medium. I have picked pieces from other writers about how to go about being successful on this platform. I feel as though I have grown to better myself. I’m not a profession writer or anything like that so my journey may take longer than I want.

I’m not going to lie. I have been a little distant from here mainly because I don’t see much growth going on with my stories. Also I’ve been busy with music and making YouTube videos. It’s a lot of work but feels good when it’s finished.

Just like finishing a story. It feels good to finish it. Though it may take some time to research certain things or to finish your point, it’s all worth it in the end. However this makes me wonder why only one of my stories has gotten curated.

Is my work not good enough? I feel it is. Is there something I’m missing? Maybe there is. It would be nice for someone in here to tell me though. They should have mentors that can look over your work and give you advice. That way I know what to leave out in my articles and what can stay. Even things that I can make better.

You can’t leave us newbies high and dry. I don’t want to look up people on YouTube that have minor success that tell me things I already know and that don’t analyze my writings. The best teachers help students by being hands-on. That is what’s missing from this platform. It’s great, don’t get me wrong. It’s just missing that extra jolt that makes it feel like more of a community.

That’s how we can all get our stories curated more consistently. There’s enough money in the world for all of us to succeed here. And there’s more than enough teachers to help us get to that stage.
